The Reason
Living in the US never felt like home. No matter how long I stayed, something always felt off — like I was a guest who overstayed their welcome. Canada feels different. It feels like a place where I can actually belong.
I’ve wanted to go to Canada since I was five years old. Something about this country always called to me — the kindness, the nature, the culture, the French. Most people grow out of childhood dreams. I grew into mine.
Laval, Québec isn’t just a destination on a map — it’s the answer to a question I’ve been asking my whole life. It’s where I choose to build my future, on my own terms, in a country that welcomes me.
